How to Access ONT’s WEB Interface

By configuring a VEIP or IP-HOST interface, it is possible to reach the ONT’s web interface directly from the network, enabling device management and configuration through a standard web browser.

You can log in to ONT’s WEB interface via:

  • IP-HOST interface
  • WAN interface
  • LAN

IP-HOST

IP-HOST 1 assumptions:

  1. Always available! – no matter of VEIP configuration
  2. Configuration only from OLT side (OMCI)
  3. DHCP or static addressing
  4. No possibility to change from ONT’s WWW site
  5. Used for management, monitoring (WWW, SSH, SNMP) and provisioning (DHCP, TR-069)

You can access the device’s WEB Interface remotely.  You should know the device’s IP address to access WWW Interface.

You can check IP address from OLT side –  configured on ONT IP-HOST-1.
For example how to check it on Dasan OLT.
