ONT HALNy HL-1G / HL-GSFP Upgrade

Upgrade procedure HL-1G

1. ONT switched off
2. Optical fiber disconnected all the time during the upgrade process
3. PC preparation:
   a. Connect cable to ONT LAN Port
   b. Set the static IP on PC: 192.168.77.153/24
   c. Start TFTP server on PC (e.g. Tftpd64 / Tftpd32)
   d. Upload the file with the software which we want to upgrade ONT, filename must be: firmware-enc.image
4. Turn on ONT
5. Action:
   a. Within a minute after start ONT will try to download the software 3 times
   b. After successful software download, when downloaded firmware version is other than than active on ONT – ONT write new firmware on standby OS, automatically restart and turn on with new firmware (all LEDs will go off)

1. ONT switched off
2. Optical fiber disconnected all the time during the upgrade process
3. PC preparation:
   a. Connect cable to Switch Ethernet Port where HL-GSFP is installed
   b. Set the static IP on PC: 192.168.77.153/24
   c. Start TFTP server on PC (e.g. Tftpd64 / Tftpd32)
   d. Upload the file with the software which we want to upgrade ONT, filename must be: firmware-enc.image
4. Turn on ONT (install it to the port)
5. Action:
   a. Within a minute after start ONT will try to download the software 3 times
   b. After successful software download, when downloaded firmware version is other than than active on ONT – ONT write new firmware on standby OS, automatically restart and turn on with new firmware (all LEDs will go off)
