ONT HALNy Upgrade on ZYXEL IES4204

Upgrade procedure on ZYXEL IES4204
1. Prepare FTP server and put firmware files on it. Make sure FTP Server is available from OLT
2. Enable firmware upgrade for the ONT model
MSC1240QA(config)# xpon ont-fw-upgrade model HL-1B active on3. Set target firmware version
MSC1240QA(config)# xpon ont-fw-upgrade model HL-1B fw-id V4.0.124. Set credentials access to FTP server and name (can not be longer than 32 letters) of firmware file
MSC1240QA(config)# xpon ont-fw-upgrade fwimg 1 fw-id V4.0.12 ftp 172.17.60.109 username user password password file G_ONU_HL-1B_V4-0-12-e.bin5. Configure firmware upgrade mode
MSC1240QA(config-interface-xont-2-2-7)# ont-fw-upgrade mode auto6. Check upgrade status
MSC1240QA# show xpon ont-fw-upgrade status 2
seq ont status mode fw-id running version equipment id % kbps
1 2-2-7 DOWNLOAD AUTO V4.0.12 V4.0.10 HL-1B 33%
* Running version and equipment id information is got from ONT via OMCI.
If you see '?' symbol, it means the ONT is OMCI-disconnected. In most cases, it is because ONT is in ACTIVATE state and rebooting.

MSC1240QA(config)# xpon ont-fw-upgrade schedule start 01:00 end 04:006. Turn on firmware upgrade according to schedule for ONT
MSC1240QA(config-interface-xont-2-1-7)# ont-fw-upgrade mode schedule7. Check upgrade status
