How to prepare remote access?

To assist you effectively, our support team may need remote access to your device. Please follow the steps below to properly prepare your environment for remote troubleshooting.

  1. Connect your PC via Ethernet cable to the LAN1 port of the device (ONT or Router).
    Your PC should also be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi.
    Then, set a static IP address on your PC that matches the subnet of the device
    Default subnets:
    • ONT: 192.168.33.x/24
    • Router: 192.168.33.x/24
  2. Ensure your PC’s Wi-Fi and Ethernet are on separate subnets to avoid network conflicts.
  3. Install the following tools on your PC:
    • AnyDesk
    • PuTTY
    • Wireshark
  4. Configure AnyDesk for Unattended Access:
    • Go to SettingsSecurity
    • Set a password and enable Unattended Access
    • Share your AnyDesk ID and password with HALNy support
