HL-1GE HGU Configuration [FIBERHOME]

Service scenario

HL-1GE can work in two modes – HGU (Home Gateway Unit) and SFU (Single Family Unit).
SFU mode configuration is presented here.
Managing ONT mode is done by setting up/or not bridge port and VEIP for ONT. In example, if ONT has to be working as HGU, we need to set only VEIP. If as SFU, we need to set bridge port(s) and VEIP(only if we want to use ip-host).
In this tutorial we will focus on HGU mode configuration.

ONT modes switching HGU<->SFU

ONT will automatically switch between HGU and SFU modes but You need to:
– ONT power reboot,
– disable/enable ONT on port via command: Admin\onu# set pon_onoff slot 1 pon 2 onu 10 status on/off
– delete ONT from port and add with new configuration.

Supported service scenario

ONT configuration

ONT was connect to the GPON port 2 with ONU_ID 9

1. Register ONT on GPON port.

Admin\onu# set whitelist phy_addr address HALN086047b8 password null action add slot 1 pon 2 onu 10 type 5506-01-A1

2. Create servmode for service.

Admin\profile# add servmode profile index 1 name INTERNET type unicast cvlan transparent translate disable qinq disable null

3. Create ip-host 1 configuration (VLAN 400).

Admin\onu\lan#  set wancfg slot 1 2 9 index 1 mode internet type route 400 0 nat disable qos disable vlanmode tag tvlan disable 400 0 qinq disable 33024 400 0 dsp dhcp
Admin\onu\lan#  set wancfg slot 1 2 9 ind 1 ip-stack-mode ipv4 ipv6-src-type dhcpv6 prefix-src-type delegate

4. Add VLANs to VeIP.

5. Check services added to ONT.
