Introducing HALNy Networks
HALNy Networks, a European vendor established in 2018, focuses on Passive Optical Networks (PON) and active Fiber to the Home (FTTH) terminals. The key objective is to supply modems that are vendor-agnostic, enabling interoperability with a range of OLT vendors.
Initially, GPON and XGS technologies were primarily accessible to Tier 1 and incumbent operators, with their significant procurement power, which could influence OLT vendors to adhere to standards and clear hidden barriers in GPON and XGS technologies. To regain control over CAPEX and OPEX, regional operators and ISPs have turned to HALNy Networks for the development of interoperable and secure ONTs.
HALNy Networks introduced AdaptiveOMCI technology in 2018 that automatically senses and adapts to the OLT protocol, providing broad out-of-the-box interoperability without needing software upgrades. Today, HALNy offers interoperability with at least 12 OLT vendors for both GPON and XGS standards.

- Software Support and Customization: We understand that small customization may have a great impact on yours network’s provisioning and roll-out. For HALNy no customer is too small to get customization!
- Long-Term Software Support: FTTH and PON modem replacement is usually done by a skilled Field Engineer. Unnecessary replacement of modem because vendors intentionally end support for it is not happening with HALNy.
