Upgrade procedure on ZHONE mx1U19x

Attention! To have possibility to use OMCI upgrade (of ONTs working in HGU mode) from ZHONE OLT You need to set correct internal profile:
HL-1GE / HL-1B – zhone-2501
HL-4GMV/HL-4GMV2/HL-4GXV-F – zhone-2516
HL-4GMVR/HL-4GX3VR – zhone-2517
For ONTs working in SFU mode – there is no need to change recommended internal profile.

1. Prepare TFTP server and put firmware files on it. Make sure TFTP Server is available from OLT

2. Download firmware file from TFTP

admin@> file download 172.17.60.109 HL-1GE_V2-0-29.bin /card1/onufw/HL-1GE_V2-0-29.bin

3. Check if file was downloaded on OLT’s flash memory

admin@> dir

5. Set firmware download, activate and commit
